Another warm day in winter.. I haven't known how to dress these last few weeks. I keep wanting to wear jackets and pants, but in 80 degrees it just doesn't work. Today was barely cool enough to wear this amazing tweed jacket that my mom found for me.

I'm just about done with my Christmas shopping too! What about you all? Are you hitting the stores or taking advantage of online shopping with free shipping like I did ;)

Thankful

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday! I enjoyed eating with my extended family and taking a walk on a beautiful day with my mom. We went out to my grandma's farm house far away from the city and it was wonderful to get out in some fresh air! What did you all do?

Hello friends! Long time, no post :)

I've been getting more into '60s fashions lately and found this adorable cardigan that looks like a vintage letterman jacket from "Grease." (Speaking of, who's watching "Glee" tonight?!)

Anyway, I love these colors.. reminds me of what Havana might look like with its bright yet muted tones.

Happy Halloween

I always love Halloween because it's free license to play dress-up in public. This is what I wore out last night. I knew when I bought these velvet leggings that I wanted to be a cat for Halloween, so I smacked some red lips on, DIYed a pair of Maison Michel inspired cat ears, bought a peplum and wore some booties- because what's more cat like than a peplum and booties?

I've been a little under the weather the past few days. I really want to post more outfits, but haven't felt up to it. I decided to pass the time and make a little post also using Polyvore. This is what I would like to think I look like while sick.. hah! Perfect Candice Swanepoel waves, harlem pants, cozy fun sweaters and socks.. yeah right ;P
I have been watching a lot of Sex and the City though. So there's one truth.  One thing that makes being sick feel even worse is looking bad too. If only we could look like Candice or Carrie Bradshaw.

Storms on the horizon

 

The weather this particular day was really awesome- dark clouds in the distance, but sunny as can be to the south. I saw this open field and had to pull over to take pictures! 

I've been trying to figure out how to wear this gold sequined collar without it looking dumb. Of course I loved the idea of it from the second I spotted it at H&M, but I figured that underneath another obnoxiously floral collar it might actually look tamed down? Okay, so maybe that's just in my head.. but I love it :)
